Workday Consultant Summary
The Workday Consultant is responsible for providing technical support, configuration, and development of various modules and integration systems in the Workday application including, but not limited to, HCM, Core Compensation, Benefits, Absence, as well as reporting.

Workday Consultant Responsibilities
-
Develops, deploys, and supports all inbound and outbound integrations from Workday including EIB, Core Connector, Workday Studio, and custom integrations

Configures various Workday modules and business processes including, but not limited to, manager and employee self-service, compensation, benefits, time and attendance, and system integrations/interfaces.

Partners with business analysts, support analysts, stakeholders, end users, vendors, and customers by participating in data requirements/process design sessions, data conversions, proof-of-concept, data analysis, audit compliance, regression testing, and end-user testing

Analyzes issues, identifies failures, and provides creative solutions related to existing and new features to meet technical and business requirements

Tests and deploys changes to the Workday system according to requirements including executing new implementations and deployments of new requirements or enhancements following defined incident and change management processes

Develops and maintains reports, queries, calculated fields, and dashboards as part of assigned projects and support requests

Helps maintain data integrity in the systems by developing processes to audit, analyze, resolve, and prevent future issues

Serves as an escalation point for Workday production support issues

Workday Consultant Qualifications

-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field

2+ years of hands on development and configuration experience in Workday including Workday Studio integrations
-
2+ years experience with Workday production support or implementation
-
3+ years of HRIS experience
-
Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, and compliance
-
Ability to develop custom Workday reports and calculated fields
-
Deep business knowledge of workflows, configuration and system relationships in the area of HR
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
